Serves 8-12

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Baking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

• 2 1⁄2 cups granulated white sugar divided as follows: 2 cups for the batter and 1⁄2 cup for topping batter

• 2 1⁄2 cups flour divided as follows: 2 cups for batter and 1⁄2 cup for dusting berries

• 2 eggs

• 2 cups wild Maine blueberries - fresh or frozen

• 1⁄2 cup sour cream

• 1 stick butter – melted

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

Tools:

• 9 x 12 baking pan

• Ziploc bag

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees

  2. Microwave the butter to melt

  3. Add all ingredients (except the blueberries) in a mixer and mix minimally

  4. Dust the blueberries by putting them and the 1⁄2 cup flour in a Ziploc and shake

  5. Stir in the blueberries - carefully! and spread into a greased baking pan

  6. Sugar top of batter liberally with 1⁄2 cup of sugar

  7. Bake for 30 minutes (or until brown on top)

  8. Serve with butter
