Yields 2 cups

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

• 2 ounces Baker’s unsweetened chocolate

• 1 cup sugar

• 1⁄2 cup heavy cream

• 2 tablespoons butter

• 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Tools:

• Double Boiler

Directions:

  1. Combine the chocolate, sugar and heavy cream in the top of a double boiler and cook until the sugar is dissolved

  2. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla

  3. Beat lightly

Notes:

• Always make a double batch!

• Bittersweet chocolate may be substituted; if so, use 1⁄2 cup less of sugar
