Yields about 2 dozen cookies

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Baking time: 25-35 minutes

Ingredients:

• 2 sticks of butter - room temperature

• 1 cup packed brown sugar

• 1⁄2 cup sugar

• 2 eggs

• 1 teaspoon vanilla

• 1⁄2 cup flour

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 1 teaspoon cinnamon

• 3 cups uncooked oats

• 1 1⁄2 cups of golden raisins

• 1 cup pecans or walnuts

Tools:

• 9 x 13 baking dish

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine: flour, baking soda and cinnamon

  3. In a separate bowl, beat together – combine each step and continue mixing:

• Butter and egg

• Vanilla and egg

• Raisins

• Flour mixture

• Oats and nuts

  1. Place batter into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 25-35 minutes - rotate the pan halfway through
