Serves 10-12

Preparation time: <1 Hour

Marinate time: 6-12 Hours

Ingredients:

• 2 pounds shrimp

• 1⁄2 cup celery - chopped

• 1 bunch scallion - chopped

• 1 tablespoon chopped chives

• 6 tablespoons olive oil

• 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika

• 3⁄4 teaspoon salt

• 3 tablespoons lemon juice

• 1⁄4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

• 2 tablespoons chili sauce

• 2 tablespoons catsup

• 2 tablespoons horseradish

• 1 tablespoon prepared mustard

• 3 garlic cloves (for bowl)

• 1 can of beer

Tools:

• Toothpicks

Directions:

  1. Rub a large bowl with garlic

  2. Peel and devein shrimp

  3. Cook in beer for 3 minutes; discard beer

  4. Combine shrimp with all of the above ingredients (remove garlic cloves)

  5. Marinate for 6-12 hours

  6. Drain and serve on hors d’oeuvres platter with toothpicks
